They light in weight, simple in construction & yet robust, making them ideal for long usage in hot and tropical areas. The double break contact system & the no volt coil are immersed in the oil that has to be filled in a deep drawn powder coated tank mounted on a non-breakable cast iron frame , making the arc quenching faster & saving the system from dust & heat.
In the Semi-automatic version, the motor starts in STAR on pressing the START button & changes over to DELTA on releasing the start button after the motor has picked up its full speed.
In the Fully-Automatic version, the changeover from STAR to DELTA is controlled by an adjustable electronic timer & the user needs to press the Start button only once, where from the timer take over.

Description: The MSDO Range of Manual Oil Immersed Star Delta starters are Reliable, long lasting & economical. They are appropriate for extreme environments like coastal area, humid, arid or dusty areas, areas facing excessive rains etc The starter consists of a contactor, a drum switch & an overload relay. The contactor provides no-volt trip; the drum switch with pure thick copper contacts provides the changeover from Star to Delta & the overload relay, that works on differential trip mechanism, provides effective safeguard against overload. Connectors for incoming & outgoing cables ensures ease of wiring.
